Reviews
Firstly, this place is smack dab in the middle of the ghetto… It’s centered in a rundown outdoor shopping mall surrounded by cheap apartments.
Once you get inside, the place is HUGE. This could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on your child. The jungle gym itself is massive and is at least eight panels deep by eight panels wide. Which means if you are on one side, you cannot see all the way through to the other side. AKA you cannot really watch your child from the outside. Therefore, if you have a little-little, you have to follow them INTO the jungle gym, just to keep an eye on them. For me, this was a huge downside. I came to this place hoping for a break from chasing a toddler and instead I got more of a workout than a normal day.
Next, is the price of this place. It’s much more expensive than any of the other place that I’ve been to. I think that speaks to the fact that it’s really aimed towards older/bigger children. They do have a half price day & that was worth it for us.
Finally, there is an arcade section that is not set up in an ideal manner. There is a violent, Jurassic Park, shoot em up game that is placed directly next to the jungle gym area. So, even though I was able to peel my small child away from the appeal of a screen in the arcade area, she found her way back to it once she was inside the play structure. They should really move this game away from everything else.
Overall, if you have kids that you are not concerned with keeping an eye on, this place is great. But, if you have smaller children that you’d like to be able to see, be aware that you will be following them into the structure. In addition, they will be surrounded by lots of kids of varying ages. We went on a Wednesday afternoon and I would not want to see what this place looks like on a weekend.
It is a decent place to go with kiddos and a decent place to have a birthday party. The food is very over priced. Overall the kids enjoy it and the price is about the same as most places like it. It's not my favorite but I'd go there again. I do like that they have coffee there and coffee makes everything better.
I came here a few years back and was very disappointed in this place and hadn't taken my child back since until yesterday. And I was pleasantly surprised! Although this place is located in what most would consider "a rough area of town" that's the literal only down fall this time. The place was very clean, the food was on the pricey side but all indoor play places usually are, but the food was super yummy! It was an $18 admission fee for my child, which is slightly higher than the competitors PDXplay and dizzy castle. BUT! As a parent I didn't have to pay admission to play with my son, just like the other places. (which years ago I had to pay for admission for myself and my sons father as well and it got expensive very fast) So all an all, I was impressed with their changes since I has been there last and will be coming back. May be a few dollars more but it's much closer than downtown portland or Vancouver.
Half admission on Wednesdays for kids under 3. Free wifi and water.
One star is way too good for the price. Over priced at $18 for child even a 2 yr old. The owner seems to be money hungry not allowing to bring your own water bottle. I was asked to get rid of the water, and my coffee. Horrible place and nothing updated for the price. Concrete on floor. I will never come again. Vancouver one is much better and worth the drive
Big indoor playground biggest non jumping one I've been to so far. Has a weird off-putting smell I believe it's coming from the restrooms or the kitchen. Would recommend having a higher cfm exhaust fan run at all times to help mitigate that. But overall great place to take your kids!
Hey owner , I never being here before but I want to, please learn how to listen to your costumers, it seems way over price food and admission, just think if you were to work a lil bit your prices you might have more costumers coming in and coming back, your managment is doing a poor job listening, by the looks people really like it but your to expensive and they rather go to another place than coming back.
Just a tought but its all up to you anyway.
Extremely overpriced and many play structures are sketchy and I would not allow our 2 yr old on them. Not it mention the fact their entry fee is ridiculous for as shoddy the structures are. Not it mention the ridiculously over priced food. Chucky cheese was also over priced and the food was awful but at least it was free to get in play the games and wasn’t broken down and nasty looking
